Jury selection is scheduled to get under way today

in Saratoga County Court in the armed robbery trial of a man who is also facing murder charges in Albany County.

Robert Charles Skinner, 34, is accused in Saratoga County of robbing an elderly woman at gunpoint at her Stillwater home in 1987. He is already serving 2 to 4 years at Great Meadow Correctional Facility in Comstock as a second felony offender for the burglary of a Guilderland home.

Skinner is also one of three men facing multiple counts of murder and burglary in Albany County stemming from the May 15, 1986, shooting deaths of Jacob and Dora Cohn, …
