When the Black College Expo opens Saturday, Chicago students who have been curious about historically Black colleges and universities will be able to get firsthand information.
The Expo, making its third appearance in the Chicago area, will be at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center (formerly the Rosemont Convention Center), 5555 N. River Rd., in Rosemont. Students and parents will be able to meet with recruiters, attend workshops and enjoy the entertainment segment, which will feature a Greek step show, performance by rapper Twista and other celebrity guest appearances. Some recruiters from traditional colleges also will be present.
